An On-Farm Workshop

Growing and Selling Herbal Products NC

Are you growing herbs to sell at a farmers market or produce stand? Are you making value-added products from herbs you grow or buy? Want to learn more about the safe cultivation and processing of your ingredients and products?

Join Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA) and NC State University Extension for an on-farm workshop at Second Wind Perennial Farm to learn about food safety and regulatory considerations for growing, processing, and selling value- added herbal products. The focus of the workshop will be on food products like teas, spices, and syrups. This interactive workshop will include a tour of the farm’s growing and processing areas.

CFSA is sponsoring for up to ten participants to receive a $100 cost-share voucher for process authority review for an herbal product of their choice.
